The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has issued Notification G.S.R. 255(E) dated April 26, 2024. This notification pertains to the establishment of the Appellate Authority for Chartered Accountants (CAs), Company Secretaries (CSs) and Cost Accountants.

Under the leadership of Shri Justice Suresh Kumar Gupta, the newly constituted Appellate Authority is poised to play a pivotal role in upholding professional standards and resolving disputes within the domain of financial governance.

Furthermore, the notification designates Shri Amit Anand Apte as a Member under the Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959. His appointment underscores the government's commitment to harnessing specialized talent and promoting excellence in the realm of cost accountancy.
